The display of the crown, a cornerstone, the Epiphany star, the Sun of Righteousness, the Cross Triumphant. Artists often show our Lord holding a cross-topped orb:The earth and the heavens are in the Lord's hands. The world is united in Christ, and symbolic of the triumph of the Gospel throughout the world. A modification of this design reveals a cross within a globe representing Jesus Christ, the Messiah of ALL the world. Jesus is THE SON(Sun) of righteousness as depicted with rays of sunlight and the IHS on the ball.

Symbols in this picture denote 3 intertwining fish: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit-three persons, yet one god. The TAU or "T" shape suggests Moses' staff and recalls Messianic promises of the Old Testament. It is often shown on the cross by which the Lord saved Israel in the wilderness. This was a "type" of Jesus' crucifixion. See Numbers 21:9 and John 3:14.

The six-pointed star called the Creator's star, representing the six days of creation. Often seen as the "Star of David", a contemporary Jewish symbol. It reminds us of Jesus' ancestor, King David and that He was the bridge and fulfillment of the Old Testament into the New Testament.
