Hello and Welcome to Emanuel Lutheran Church!

Let me introduce myself. I am the pastor. Like you, I am an experiment in God's daily grace and goodness. From time to time I have soup stains on my tie, but I always strive to have a song on my lips and the joy of Jesus in my heart. I live in the shadow of the cross and want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection.

I want to be a man of His Word and a sharer of the Good News.

I want to be better than I am and I want you to be better than you are. I pray. I study. I wrestle with the text. I preach first to me. I am a husband and father. I wear lots of hats. Some fit better than others. I have more good days than bad, but enough bad to relate. I comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. I would rather step on your toes than tickle your ears. I want you to go to heaven, and I would love to join you.
