Faceted Glass Windows

in the Sanctuary

The left window shows the elements of communion, the host and chalice overlaid by the wheat representing the harvest of the final days.

The central panel shows the cross draped with a winding sheet or shroud. This is the Easter Cross in green for eternal life and the cross is empty. The shroud is in pale purple, the color of penance and forgiveness of sin, and it too is empty for Christ is risen!

To the right we see the baptism window showing the shell which the missionaries used to pour water on the new Christians. Under the shell we see three drops of water dropping toward the orb of the earth for the words of Jesus, "Go ye forth and baptize all the nations in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit making disciples of all people."
