BIBLE CAMP
Emanuel Lutheran Church is planning
a new OUTDOOR adventure this summer
When: June 23-27 Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00
Where: Tucker's Grove Park (at Turnpike
and Cathedral Oaks) SITE 7
Who: Children who will be in Grades
1-6 this next year, and youth who will be in Grade 7 or above
who would like to help as assistant leaders
What will we do? We will take the Ultimate
Trek through Time learning of the 7 Cs of history , grow in our
love for Jesus, do fun nature activities, sing great songs, make
exciting crafts, play games, eat super snacks.
Children will learn that the Bible is not
a dusty old book that bears no connection to their world today.
The 7 Cs of history are seven Biblical events that have
affected, or will affect our world. We will
also journey through the Amazon Rain forest exploring and learning
about animals and plants of this region.
Cost: $ 50.00 per child (Will be
in Grades 1-5) +VERY limited enrollment+
$25.00 per youth (Will be in Grade 6 and above) who will be assisting
What does it include: CD of music,
All materials, snacks
Family BBQ lunch on Friday, cool
crafts and all of the above fun activities
Supervision: Children will be closely
supervised and in small groups
with adults and youth assistants in addition.
Transportation: Parents will drop
off and pick up their children
at Tucker's Grove park reserved area 7
